What do Women want????

I was looking through my old blog yesterday and I read this post that i thought was pretty funny. Its a great analogy.

A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much. She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way. This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we are looking for, but we're not going to hire you. We will, however, use your resume as the basis for comparison for all other applicants. But, we're going to hire somebody who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire somebody else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person that we hired.

Who is Sarah Silverman?

Recently in order to cool down from a lot of stress (Exam week). I have been watching a significant amount of TV and reading a lot of news, and from time to time I keep bumping into the name Sarah Silverman over and over again, I looked her up. The article said she is a comedian who is known for telling crude jokes (Unpopular style for women but its working for her). Well I didn't get the chance to see her show till last night. Only two minutes in I could see why someone would love to watch her but also find her annoying at the same time.

She is pretty and easy to look at but she is not lady like, she is that girl that a guy and all his friends will hang out with laugh together and checkout other girls with. her humor style ranges from stupidity to sarcasm and sometime she would throw you off with some smart ass jokes like the video "Why do Jews buy German Cars". Generally I found her really interesting and would probably watch her again. Here a clip from one of her shows.

Is the Nintendo wii next Generation?

For the past few months now, there has been this console buzz. The Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii have finally been released and people have stood in line for hours if not days in order to get their hands on the latest technologies. Now we have finally played them, the whole game industries is flooded with reviews. Wii fans, Xbox fans and Playstation fans all hit it head to head trying to prove which console is the best and giving advice on what newbie gamers should go for, and this is when people now pull out what i feel is the most misused phrase in the game industry "Next Generation". There has been a battle on which console is better than which and which console is next generation and which isn't.

The question here is what is a next generation console? Is it a console that has better and faster graphics or is it a console that reinvents the art of gaming. Does just popping in a new processor and graphics card into a box make in next generation technology or is it re-engineering the ways games are looked at and played. I believe it is the latter. In the case of the Wii, I think in terms of all the consoles released in 2006/2007 the Nintendo Wii is the only one that has the bragging rights to be called Next Gen, because they have actually reinvented the art of gaming and yes they do not have great graphics or an extra fast processor but those are easily available and can be done if that is what Nintendo wanted, but what Nintendo was looking for while building the Wii was a way to bridge the gap between hardcore gamers and non-gamers and the have invested time and money to come up with technology that is closer to doing that than any other major console manufacturer. Although there is a major resistance now by hardcore gamers who are not ready to trade soar thumbs for a work out. I think with time it would be revealed without a doubt that playing games with motion detection is the way of the future.

Springbreak Check List

March is closing in and I cant wait for spring to arrive, It has been a crazy winter here in New York with 2 feet of snow overnight and ice cold winds, freezing up from trees to cars even airplanes. Well spring break is near and I can hear the waves on the beach calling me, the beautiful women in bikini's sun bathing and sleepless nights spent in huge untamed nightclubs. That is why I chose to go to Cancun this year, after a bottled up, cold four months we all need to stretch, relax and have some fun. But in all this excitement many of us will forget to pack the most essential things needed for the break which may affect the overall fun on the trip. Thats why I have created this check list of things to take and things do for your spring break trip.

Things to do:
  • Make sure you have your passport packed 2 days before your trip
  • Call the airline company to confirm your flight and the times
  • Check your due dates for bills (you don't want to get back from your holiday only to pay late fees)
  • Leave contact information for friends and family to be able to reach you in case there is an emergency.
Things to pack:
  • Sunscreen (for those who need it)
  • Swimming trunks
  • Condoms
  • camera/camcorder (Your gonna want to remember those crazy moments)
  • Money (This is very important, go on forums or ask other people that have been to where ever your going how much they think you would need)
  • Magazines (for the plane and when your on the beach relaxing)
  • Mp3/Music player (Essential on the plane or relaxing)
  • Your Brain (This is the most important, many people go on holidays and just wild out forgetting life continues after the break)

Back Again!

This is interesting, after months of battling whether or not to restart blogging I guess it was a jolt of inspiration that got me of my feet.

I was talking to a friend some days ago and he came up with this idea to create a blog an particular topic. He wanted me t be a co - author of this blog which I accepted without hesitation, I don't know if it was the potential of the topic or I had finally gotten an excuse to start blogging again. To cut a long story short, I finally decided to get back to this stuff and I think this time I am here to stay.
